UAE Affirms Commitment to Yemen’s Stability

Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE, met with Timothy Lenderking, the US Special Envoy to Yemen, and discussed the latest developments and international efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis.

Gargash emphasized the importance of finding a peaceful resolution to end the ongoing crisis in Yemen and its consequential humanitarian implications.

He also underlined the need to intensify international efforts in this direction, hailing the significant role played by the US in this context.

Gargash reviewed the UAE’s historical commitment to Yemen’s stability and prosperity, asserting the nation’s support for all efforts aimed at finding a solution to the Yemeni crisis.

The US State Department announced that Lenderking is visiting the Gulf countries to push efforts to extend the ceasefire and launch a comprehensive peace process in the region.

The American ministry highlighted that the visit seeks to boost current UN-led efforts to ensure a comprehensive peace process in order to alleviate the economic crisis and suffering of Yemenis.
