Saudi Arabia is all set to host an 18th consultative meeting of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Central Asian countries in Jeddah on 19 July, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The summit aims to boost cooperation and foster ties between the participating countries.

Earlier on Tuesday, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, President of Turkmenistan, landed in Jeddha to participate in the summit. The leaders of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev also arrived in Jeddah.
