In a significant diplomatic engagement, Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, today at the Amiri Diwan in Doha.
The meeting was held under the direction of the Saudi leadership.
During the visit, Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings and well wishes of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Emir and the people of Qatar.
The Emir reciprocated by extending his appreciation and regards to the Saudi King and Crown Prince.
The discussion focused on the strong brotherly ties between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, exploring ways to enhance regional security and stability. The two leaders also addressed various topics of mutual interest.
Attending the meeting from the Saudi side were Minister of Transport and Logistics Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser and the Director General of the Defense Minister’s Office, Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.
From the Qatari side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Amiri Diwan Chief Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, and other senior officials.
