Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced the killing of more than 300 Ukrainian soldiers and the destruction of 14 military vehicles during battles in the Kursk region over the past 24 hours.

The ministry’s statement, reported by Sputnik, said, “With support from army aviation and artillery, Northern Group units repelled enemy assault detachments on the Komarovka, Malaya Luknya, Nechayev, and Cherkasskoye Burechnoye fronts. Russian forces thwarted enemy attacks on the Vishnyovka, Borki, Pogrebki, and Spalnoy fronts.”

The statement added, “Enemy losses amounted to over 300 soldiers and 14 vehicles, including a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored personnel carrier, 11 armored combat vehicles, seven cars, a cannon, an engineering vehicle, and two electronic warfare and radar stations.”

The ministry also noted that “since the start of hostilities in the Kursk region, Ukrainian armed forces have lost more than 5,800 soldiers, 72 tanks, 31 infantry fighting vehicles, 58 armored personnel carriers, 383 armored combat vehicles, 177 vehicles, 37 cannons, five air defence systems, 11 rocket launchers, nine electronic warfare stations, an anti-battery radar, an air defence radar, and five engineering vehicles.”
