The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced today, Thursday, that the Israeli military has forcibly displaced approximately 250,000 Gazans this month by issuing 12 eviction orders.

According to a statement released by UNRWA on the “X” platform, “The Israeli eviction orders in Gaza throughout August have totaled 12, resulting in the forced displacement of about 250,000 people.”

UNRWA warned that the residents of Gaza find themselves trapped in a cycle of repeated forced displacement as families continue to flee amid military operations and the severe summer heat.
