The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,173, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s assault on Gaza on October 7.

According to a statement from the Ministry, the number of injured has risen to 92,857 since the start of the assault. Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as the occupation forces continue to block access to ambulance and civil defense teams.

The Ministry further reported that Israeli forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip within the last 24 hours, resulting in the deaths of 34 citizens and the injury of 114 others.

For the 319th consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces continue their campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip, carrying out dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling, committing massacres against civilians.
