Turkey announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of an international cyber espionage network, revealing that the network had obtained personal data of thousands of people in multiple countries worldwide.

According to the Anadolu Agency, citing security sources, Turkish intelligence had been tracking the espionage network for an extended period. The security forces, in coordination with Turkish intelligence, conducted a joint operation against the network, resulting in the arrest of 11 suspects.

The agency reported that the espionage network had foreign connections and provided stolen personal data and critical information to anyone who requested it, including terrorist organizations.
