Khaled Mohammed Manzalawi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League and Head of the International Political Affairs Sector, and El Houssein Sidi Abdoullah Dieh, Mauritania’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, discussed topics related to Arab cooperation with international countries and organizations.

The discussions took place during a reception held by Menzalawi for Dieh. Both officials underscored the significance of enhancing the functionality of various forums and emphasizing Arab interests in international collaboration.

The Arab League, established in 1945, is a regional organization aimed at fostering economic, cultural, and political cooperation among Arab states.

The League seeks to coordinate the efforts of member states in addressing common challenges and promoting collective interests on the international stage.

Mauritania, a member of the Arab League, has been actively involved in regional and international affairs, working closely with other member states to address shared concerns.

The country’s diplomatic engagement includes strengthening ties with various international organizations and forums to enhance collaborative efforts in addressing global issues.

The recent meeting between Menzalawi and El-Dia highlights the Arab League’s ongoing commitment to reinforcing its role in international diplomacy and ensuring that Arab perspectives are effectively represented in global discussions.

The focus on activating forums and aligning with Arab interests reflects a strategic approach to enhance cooperation and influence within the international community.
