Leila Belkhiria Jabber from Tunisia has been elected as the Deputy President of the “COMESA Women Entrepreneurs” organization during a general session held in Madagascar on Thursday.

The Tunisian Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs, part of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce, and Handicrafts, announced in a press statement that Leila Belkhiria Jabber currently leads the chamber, thus becoming the representative of this organization in the North Africa region.

The statement highlighted that “COMESA Women Entrepreneurs” is an institution affiliated with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), established in 1993 in Zimbabwe with the approval of the heads of state and governments of COMESA member countries.
