Early this Saturday morning, an Israeli airstrike targeted two homes in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp located in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of eight people and injuries to dozens, as reported by the Palestinian news agency.
Local sources conveyed that Israeli aircraft targeted a house in the Sultan neighborhood within the camp, leading to the death of four citizens, including an infant, whose remains were brought to the hospital in fragments. Another airstrike on a different house in the same camp killed four more people and wounded about thirty others.
The sources also reported that Israeli forces intensified their bombardment of the Al-Maghraqa area in central Gaza and continued shelling across Gaza City, particularly focusing on the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood, where at least three homes were targeted.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced yesterday that the number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing conflict since October 7 has risen to 34,356, with the number of injured reaching 77,368.
This recent escalation adds to the continuing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, drawing further international attention to the dire situation faced by civilians caught in the crossfire.
