Algerian authorities announced on Thursday the evacuation of 45 Palestinian children and 6 injured Algerians, along with their companions, aboard two Algerian Air Force medical-equipped planes.

The operation is part of President Tebboune’s initiative to treat 450 Palestinian children injured in the brutal Zionist bombings that targeted Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

The planes departed from Cairo International Airport and landed at Boufarik Military Airport in Algeria.

According to Tebboune’s initiative, Palestinian children will be cared for at military hospitals and army clubs in Algeria, with all necessary resources provided for the success of this humanitarian operation.
Media reports indicate that subsequent evacuation operations for other groups of wounded and injured individuals will demonstrate Algeria’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people in their plight.

Algeria reaffirms its commitment to exerting continuous efforts to evacuate Algerian citizens stranded in Gaza, despite the challenges, in cooperation with Egyptian authorities, the Palestinian Red Crescent, and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Previously, Algeria dispatched several aircraft to deliver humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza to alleviate their suffering, with ongoing humanitarian assistance planned for the current week.
