China Calls for Increased Humanitarian Aid to Sudan

China has urged the continuation of enhanced humanitarian assistance to Sudan and neighboring countries, emphasizing the need for the international community to collaborate towards a political resolution and the establishment of peace in Sudan.

The call highlights the importance of respecting Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and cautions against the imposition of external solutions, as reported by Cairo News Channel in a breaking news segment.

Notably, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and his Canadian counterpart, Mélanie Joly, have jointly called for increased international efforts to bring an end to the Gaza war and ensure the protection of unarmed Palestinian civilians.

This plea was made during a reception hosted by Prince Faisal for Joly at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Riyadh on Thursday.

The discussions between Prince Faisal and Joly focused on the situation in Gaza, highlighting the shared belief that the international community must actively fulfill its responsibilities to de-escalate the conflict. Additionally, they emphasized the necessity of providing adequate protection for civilians and striving to bring a resolution to the longstanding conflict in the region.

Bilateral relations and avenues for enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Canada were also key points of discussion during the meeting. The ministers reviewed various aspects of joint collaboration between the two friendly nations, examining regional and international developments and the efforts being undertaken to address them.
