In a concerning escalation of hostilities, the Russian army conducted a series of aggressive moves in Ukraine’s southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, launching 87 strikes on 19 settlements within the past 24 hours, as reported by the region’s military administration on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

Multiple rocket launchers were employed in shelling Temyrivka, Robotyne, and Stepnohirsk, while Robotyne faced two aerial bombs. Additionally, the region experienced 24 drone attacks in Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Chervone, Malynivka, Levadne, Piatykhatky, and Lobkove.

The intensity of the assault extended to 58 artillery strikes on Novodarivka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Poltavka, Charivne, Levadne, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, Kamianske, and other frontline towns and villages.

Amidst this onslaught, the military administration reported three instances of residential buildings being destroyed, thankfully without any casualties recorded.

The situation marks a grave turn in the ongoing conflict, raising concerns about the safety and well-being of the affected civilian population. International observers are closely monitoring the developments as tensions continue to escalate in the region.
