In a significant move towards reconstruction and development, the President of the Reconstruction and Stability Committee, Hatem Al-Arabi, along with the Executive Director of the Derna Reconstruction and Affected Areas Fund, Belqasem Khalifa Haftar, signed major construction and reconstruction contracts.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Libyan government, Osama Hamad, along with the Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian company “Neom,” Engineer Ibrahim Al-Arjani, and the Chairman of the Board of the Nile Valley Company, Minister Hani Dahhi.

The agreement includes the construction of six new bridges in the city of Derna. These bridges are the Seaside Bridge, the Wadi Al-Naqa Bridge, the Sahaba Mosque Bridge, Wadi 1 Bridge, Wadi 2 Bridge, and Wadi 3 Bridge.

In the city of Ajdabiya, two bridges will be constructed: the Central City Bridge and the Ring Road Intersection Bridge with the Tobruk Road.

Additionally, three new bridges are planned for Benghazi.

These include the Main Al-Jarat Bridge Intersection, the Peace District Island Bridge at the eastern entrance of the city, and the Intersection Bridge of Al-Hawari Road with the Cement Factory.

This initiative signifies a major step forward in the efforts to rebuild and improve infrastructure in Libya.
