Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a recent meeting of the Russian Ministry of Defense Council, firmly stated that Russia remains steadfast in its military objectives in Ukraine, despite ongoing Western aggression.

Putin highlighted the West’s persistent hybrid warfare tactics, including the use of advisors, information campaigns, drones, and cluster bombs.

He pointed out NATO’s significant military buildup along Russia’s borders, emphasizing the broad public support for the Russian army across various societal segments.

The Russian President underscored the necessity of defending and attacking as required, proudly noting that the Russian military has shattered the myth of Western invincibility.

He stressed the importance of increasing the production of high-precision ammunition and drones, as well as improving air defense systems to counteract enemy drone usage effectively.

Acknowledging the evolving nature of military threats, Putin emphasized the increased need for a robust nuclear triad and called for the strengthening of the military-industrial complex.

He reported the deployment of advanced “Yars” and “Avangard” missile systems and the commissioning of two multi-purpose submarines armed with “Bulava” missiles.

Putin praised the military-industrial sector’s significant progress, with industries operating at full capacity to meet the challenges posed by Western support for Ukraine.

He noted a substantial increase in tank and armored vehicle production and a significant rise in ammunition output.

The President called for continuous analysis and adaptation, highlighting the need for newer tank models and advanced weaponry, particularly heavy drones.

He emphasized the shift of complex technology industries towards defense production and expressed gratitude to everyone contributing to these efforts, including citizens, companies, students, and retirees.

Putin concluded by emphasizing the importance of solidarity among the Russian people and the need for military colleges to enhance training programs, particularly in drone management and utilization, drawing on Russia’s rich military experience.
