UAE & Serbia Discuss Bilateral Ties & Regional Issues

Today, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan embarked on a working visit to Serbia, where he held a meeting with President Aleksandar Vucic to review and strengthen the relationship between their respective countries.

The leaders engaged in discussions on regional and international developments of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and President Vucic highlighted the existing areas of cooperation between the UAE and Serbia, while also exploring new opportunities for collaboration. They specifically focused on sectors such as renewable energy, agriculture, food security, technology, artificial intelligence, and trade.

Both leaders acknowledged the significant growth in UAE-Serbia bilateral ties, further bolstered by the signing of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement in September 2022.

In addition to bilateral matters, President Sheikh Mohamed and President Vucic delved into various regional and international issues.
