This event marks a significant moment in Saudi sports, as it is the largest national sporting event in the kingdom’s history.

Over 8,000 male and female athletes will compete in 53 different sports, including individual and team events, with six games dedicated to Paralympic sports and four demonstration sports.

The event will also feature a youth championship in 12 sports categories.

Additionally, in the youth category, gold, silver, and bronze medalists will be awarded SAR 100,000, SAR 50,000, and SAR 25,000, respectively.

The event is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts under Vision 2030 to promote sports and physical activity among its citizens.

It aims to inspire Saudi youth and highlight the Kingdom’s capabilities in hosting major international events.

The Saudi Games also serve as a platform for showcasing the talents of Saudi athletes on a global stage.

The Saudi Games encompass more than 230 sporting competitions, featuring a wide range of sports such as wrestling, equestrian, chess, archery, triathlon, volleyball, basketball, camel racing, and various modern sports like PUBG and robotics.

The event’s scope and scale underscore Saudi Arabia’s growing emphasis on sports as a means of cultural and social development.
