The Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that the death toll from Israeli shelling on the Gaza Strip has risen to 10,569 after a month since the war began.

Spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra reported that among the 10,569 victims, there are 4,324 children, 2,823 women, and 649 elderly. The number of injured has surpassed 26,475 Palestinians since the start of hostilities on October 7th.

According to the Al Sharq news website, the ministry has received 2,550 reports of missing individuals, including 1,350 children, many of whom remain under the rubble.

Al-Qudra highlighted the increased targeting of health teams; this aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of 193 health personnel and the destruction of 45 ambulances.

He also stated that the Israeli military “targeted 120 health institutions, putting 18 hospitals and 40 health centers out of service due to attacks and fuel shortages.”
