Moroccoan Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, engaged in discussions with her Qatari counterpart, Ali Bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, in Marrakech over the weekend. The talks centered on strategies to enhance economic and investment ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of Qatar.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, served as a platform to underscore the robust relations existing between the two nations.
During the discussions, Minister Fettah highlighted Morocco’s resilience in the aftermath of the Al Haouz earthquake. She also emphasized the significance of the reconstruction program initiated under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.
In response, the Qatari minister praised the strength of the ties between Qatar and Morocco, expressing solidarity between the two brotherly peoples. He further emphasized Qatar’s keen interest in fortifying financial cooperation and investment relations with Morocco.
The talks come at a pivotal time, showcasing the mutual commitment of both nations to foster economic collaboration and strengthen their partnership in various sectors. The exchange reflects a shared vision for enhanced cooperation and development between Morocco and Qatar.
