The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday evening that the death toll among Palestinians has risen to 900 as a result of Israel’s attacks on the territory, now entering its fourth day.
The ministry, in a statement, reported that among the total casualties, 260 were children, 230 were women, 7 were healthcare professionals, and 8 were journalists.
It added that “Israeli occupation crimes against Palestinian families have resulted in the obliteration of 22 families, with 150 of their members lost.”
The ministry also documented injuries to 4,500 others, noting that medical examinations of the victims’ bodies revealed a range of severe injuries, including amputations, complex wounds, various burns, and internal organ injuries.
The Ministry of Health warned of the ongoing risks posed by Israel’s disruption of electricity and water supplies, highlighting its adverse effects on the health and well-being of the wounded, patients, public health, and the environment.
