Ukrainian authorities report the loss of six innocent lives and injuries to nine others following a Russian bombardment in Kherson, Southern Ukraine on Friday.
The Ukrainian Prosecutor General confirmed this grim toll, as reported by Ukraine’s official news agency, Ukrinform.
According to the agency, Russian aircraft conducted aerial bombardments on the village of Tiayhinca in the Berislav region.
Additionally, missile and artillery strikes hit the villages of Lufivka, Darivka, and Belozerka, all part of the Kherson province in the south.
These devastating attacks resulted in casualties and injuries as indicated in the Prosecutor General’s statement.
Kyiv and Moscow have continuously exchanged fire, targeting residential areas and civilians, since the outbreak of the conflict in February 2022.
Despite ongoing international mediation efforts, the conflict persists, and the toll on innocent lives continues to rise unabated.
The situation remains highly volatile, with civilians caught in the crossfire and facing the dire consequences of these violent clashes.
