The Ukrainian army announced on Wednesday that the number of Russian soldier casualties has risen to 361,500 since the beginning of the military operation on February 24, 2022, with 680 soldiers killed just yesterday.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as reported by the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, stated that during this period, Russia has also lost 5,990 tanks, 11,107 armored vehicles, 8,546 artillery systems, 945 multiple-launch rocket systems, 629 air defense systems, 329 fighter jets, 324 helicopters, and 23 warships, in addition to 11,391 fuel trucks and vehicles, along with 1,298 specialized equipment and 6,748 drones, as well as 1,783 cruise missiles and submarines.
Meanwhile, the military administration of the Kharkiv region in Ukraine announced this Wednesday morning that Russian forces launched a missile attack on the city of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine late on Tuesday, targeting a school in the Osnovyansky district.
According to a report from the military administration, relayed by the official Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, at the site of the explosion, there is a crater approximately ten meters in diameter filled with water, and rescue workers suspect that the rocket attack has led to the destruction of an underground water pipeline.
Earlier, the governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleh Sinegubov, reported damage to an educational institution in Kharkiv as a result of an enemy attack, adding that according to initial reports, there were no casualties.
