El-Arish Airport in northern Sinai has received a total of 320 international aid flights for the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Recent data on the arrival of international aid to Gaza via El-Arish Airport shows that in the past few hours, two cargo planes carrying aid from Saudi Arabia transported 15,320 tons of medical supplies, and another plane from Belgium transported 40,962 tons of medical supplies and medicines.
This brings the total number of flights received at El-Arish Airport, transporting relief aid to Gaza since the outbreak of the Israeli aggression in Gaza last October, to 320 flights.
These flights have carried approximately 950 tons of relief aid, including ambulances, field hospitals, and medicines, all destined for the Gaza Strip.
The Egyptian Red Crescent has been responsible for receiving and transporting these shipments from El-Arish to the Rafah border crossing, ensuring that the aid reaches Gaza promptly.
Khaled Zayed, the head of the Egyptian Red Crescent branch in North Sinai, stated that the reception of international aid for Gaza via El-Arish Airport began on October 12th last year.
Volunteers have been diligently unloading and preparing these shipments for transportation to the Rafah border crossing, where they are then transferred into Gaza.
International relief organizations, including the World Food Programme, UNICEF, the World Health Organization, the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, the European Union, and the United Nations, have contributed to these aid shipments.
The countries whose aid flights have arrived at El-Arish Airport and were subsequently dispatched to Gaza include Kuwait, Turkey, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Algeria, Jordan, Iraq, Indonesia, France, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bahrain, England, Brazil, Tunisia, Venezuela, India, Kenya, Colombia, Malaysia, Greece, Libya, Turkmenistan, Poland, Denmark, Oman, Chechnya, and Belgium.
