273,980 Russian Soldiers Killed in Ukraine War

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported a significant increase in Russian military casualties, numbering 273,980 soldiers, since the commencement of the military operation on February 24th of the previous year.

Russian Military Equipment Losses: According to the Ukrainian news agency, Ukrinform, within this period, Russia has suffered the loss of:

• 4,635 tanks
• 8,868 armored vehicles
• 6,096 artillery systems
• 779 multiple launch rocket systems
• 526 air defense systems
• 315 fighter jets
• 316 helicopters
• 20 warships
• 8,633 vehicles and fuel tanks
• 906 specialized equipment pieces
• 4,821 drones
• 1,479 cruise missiles were shot down
• 1 submarine

Recent Drone Attacks: Russia launched 24 Shahed-type drones towards Ukrainian territories in the last few hours. Ukrainian defense units managed to destroy 17 of them.

Ukrainian Counter-Attacks: The Ukrainian air force conducted a strike on a Russian command center, 16 raids on Russian military personnel, ammunition groups, and military equipment. Moreover, there were 3 strikes on ground-to-air missile systems. Ukrainian missile and artillery units also targeted 3 Russian command posts, ground-to-air missile systems, 9 artillery systems, an ammunition depot, and a single electronic warfare system.

Skirmishes and Assaults: In the past day, the Ukrainian air force launched 20 raids on Russian positions, while 24 military skirmishes took place at the frontline. On the other hand, Russian forces carried out 9 missile strikes, 79 airstrikes, and fired multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian positions and civilian targets over 60 times.

Affected Territories: Russian artillery impacted approximately 100 towns in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions. Additionally, Russia deployed 31 Shahed-136/131 munitions against Ukrainian territories, with Ukrainian air defenses destroying 28 of them.

Regional Reports:

• Zaporizhia: Yuri Malashko, head of the military administration of the Zaporizhia region, stated that Russian forces executed 128 raids in the region. As a result of a drone attack on Stepnohirsk, two individuals were injured.

Furthermore, 35 reports of damaged residential buildings and infrastructure facilities have been received.

• Kherson: Oleksandr Prokodin, head of the military administration in Kherson, informed that Russian forces attacked the Kherson area 118 times and fired 589 shells, resulting in two deaths and injuries to four individuals.

The ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia has escalated in recent months, with both sides reporting significant military and infrastructure damages. International communities are closely monitoring the situation and urging for a peaceful resolution.
