The United Nations reported that more than 123,538 people have been internally displaced within Gaza since the recent escalation between Israel and Hamas began.

The situation remains dire, with estimates suggesting that Israeli casualties may rise to 1,000.

In Gaza, the director of ambulance services announced on Monday that the Palestinian death toll has risen to over 510, with more than 2,750 injured.

The conflict has also resulted in significant destruction of homes, residential buildings, properties, and infrastructure, including the damaging of six mosques and four schools.

Meanwhile, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, revealed for the first time that they have deployed a domestically-produced air defense system called “Moutabar-1.”

In response to the ongoing conflict, Israeli authorities have implemented road closures in and around settlements in the Gaza Strip. This includes the closure of over 10 major roads and intersections.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), this displacement has been driven by fear and a desire for protection due to Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling, with over 73,000 people seeking refuge in schools.

The Israeli public radio cited a senior official who claimed that the number of Israeli casualties is significantly higher than what has been officially reported.

Additionally, an Israeli military spokesperson stated that there are a large number of Israeli military and civilian hostages, requiring an unprecedented response.

The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper speculated that the number of Israeli fatalities may rise to 1,000.

Palestinian sources revealed that the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military arm, has captured a new group of Israeli soldiers amidst intense clashes within the Gaza Strip.

According to China’s Xinhua News Agency, a Hamas leader conveyed to Qatar that the movement does not object to a prisoner exchange deal that secures the release of all Palestinian female prisoners.

The source also disclosed that Qatar is mediating an urgent prisoner exchange deal with Israel.

In Gaza, a government official alleged that the Israeli military committed massacres against 15 families in the region, directly targeting their homes.
