A Ukrainian drone strike on a gas station in the Orel region, near the Ukrainian border, resulted in the death of one person and injuries to three others on Monday, as reported by local government officials.
The incident occurred in the city of Livny, where the drone hit a gas station, causing damage to the facade of an administrative building.
Following the initial attack, another drone strike targeted the area after emergency services had arrived.
Preliminary reports indicate that a fire truck driver was killed in the attack, while three emergency workers sustained injuries.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that it intercepted 12 Ukrainian drones overnight, including six over the Orel region, which is located about 170 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
